“Back at you.” Felicia didn’t blink at the sound of the alert. Felicia knew it wasn’t anything. And if it was, she could always get back at him later. “See you at the party?” She didn’t know what his further plans were, but she still had to wait for food.

“Usually tend t'work by m'self but ifn I ever need a partner consider yourself the first one I look up,” Eames told her, flashing a bit of a smirk. It was easier to work on his own – no one to stab him in the back, no one to betray him should they get a better offer. The only times he worked with a team were those jobs involving dream sharing. Otherwise, he’d learned the hard way that he was the only person he could trust. Maybe it was time to put a little bit of trust in someone else for a change. “Of course, love. Not about to miss out on this sort of thing. Far too many temptations at a party like this.” And far too many chances for him to practice on some of his lesser used skills. If he didn’t walk out of the party with a few gifts he was going to be sorely disappointed.
