“Good thing the bright colors caught my eye.” Maddie smiled, finishing with her earring and opening the closet door to find a suitable jacket for her outfit. “Don’t worry about tonight. Just a lot of old businessmen and investors. I’ll be with them most of the night. They flew in from Hong Kong this morning. Oh and if Mr. Hiroshi’s hands tend to wander towards my ass, cease and desist. It’s a normal thing.”

“Are you making fun of my socks,” he teased in return, wondering if maybe he shouldn’t have gone quite so bright. Normally he went conservative but this time he decided to be a bit daring. Maybe he should have actually stuck with what he knew and experiment when he wasn’t having to look invisible at an important function. “And are you sure you don’t want me to have a bit of a chat with him? Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve had to talk with a bloke about getting too handsy.”
