They’d never been away together, but Justin was already certain that if they went away, he’d want more. More time away from things that they knew and the darkness that hung over the places they spent their time. More time with just the two of them in places where no one knew them or their histories and they were free to be whatever they wanted to be. The moment that Eames tilted his head forward, exposing more of his neck, Justin takes the bait, lips peppering feather-light kisses against every inch he can get at. “Hell, we don’t even have to leave the state if we don’t want to… just to get out of this apartment… out of this city… at least for a little while,” Justin murmured softly, lips brushing against the back of his neck. Sighing softly, he tucked his face against the back of his neck, eyes fluttering shut as his arms gently tightened around him. “Been thinking maybe it’s time we make that a permanent state. I like working at SI… I do. But, I don’t have to. I dunno… maybe we’ve just got too much baggage in this place, you know? And we should get away from it. Make a clean break and refocus.” It was just a thought, one he’d had tumbling about in his head for a while. But, he wanted it to be something they both wanted. Snickering quietly, he pressed another kiss at the base of Eames’ neck before lifting his head again. “You suggesting I offer to trade sexual favours to get you out of prison?”
He hadn’t thought that a holiday was what they needed. But then again after everything that had been going on between them as of late, a holiday was the perfect idea. Maybe it would be the start of something they did all the time – just take a little trip out of the city, someplace where they were relative unknowns. Eames knew that once they took one he would want to take more, to show Justin the world that was out there, to show him that it wasn’t always so dark. They deserved to be happy, to have some light in their life. Didn’t they? It was hard to think when he felt the other’s lips against his skin. His eyes fluttered closed and his body went lax, trusting that Justin wouldn’t let him fall to the floor. “I know but our first real holiday together I think we should leave the country, go someplace warm and far away from all of this,” he pointed out, knowing that if they were going to do this they were going to do it right. Somewhere far way, an island of some sort, was the perfect first holiday for them. And he had just the idea, too. “You want to quit your job? You want to not only quit your job but move out of the city?” Not that he was complaining. It was just a shock to hear such things come from Justin. He figured they would most likely move to a bigger flat in the city but never leave it completely. This put a whole new spin on everything. And had him thinking that this was a brilliant idea. Of course, feeling lips against his neck again sent shivers down his back and all thoughts left his head. “Did I? I was just saying that you’re a gorgeous bloke, that I’m certain people wouldn’t be able t'resist your lovely charms.”
